We all have our favorite book(s) that we read over and over. In your opinion, what is one book that EVERY 4th grade student needs to read? Why?

Every 4th grade student needs to read "The midnight Fox" and if you are in battle of the books you will evenchually read that book. "the midnight fox" is my favorite book because it has voice and shows expresstion and you can feel and see what he felt and saw.
I think people should read Ripley's Belive it or not book because it has cool stuff in it. It will blow your head off. It has alot of chapters in it. There's a chapter about animals, sports, and colections. It's a good book I hop you read it.
HEY, Claire here Dear,Kyle, you are exactlly right I think reading chapter books out loud improovs your fluency. I always rea chapter books unlessI have to for instance there are piture books in bate of the books. Caleb this is how you spell funny not "funey". Moressy you are right Garfild is really funny and I think they are fun to read.

Wow! You all have some great books that you like! You all have very different opinions too. Kyle is right, chapter books are great! We will read those a lot this year to improve how well we read. There are a lot of books that I love to read. One of my favorite book is The Princess Academy. That book has it all! There are battles, there is a mystery, there is a royal family, and some characters even has special powers. The Princes Academy is a book for everyone!
I think you should read ''Jack and Annie'' because if you like travoing throw time you should read this book.I now you will love it because I do.Read ''Jack and Annie''.
Claire, If I told you what the mystery was all about, you would not have a reason to read the book. It is one of those books everyone has to read! It is a hard book though. Maybe not a typical 4th grade book.
